Anganwadi, ASHA workers to be covered under National Digital Literacy Mission

The Ministry of Communications and IT has decided to expand the scope of National Digital Literacy Mission to cover all Anganwadi and Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers and authorized Fair Price Shop (FPS) owners under the Food and Public Distribution network across all the States of the country.

As a result, two levels of digital literacy training will be extended to Anganwadi and ASHA workers and FPS owners, which will enable them to make effective use of various IT enabled services being implemented by the government for improving the service delivery and benefitting citizens at the grassroots.
